 http:// – This defines the Internet protocol required to reach the online resource. This stands for the programming language used to create the page, hyper text transfer protocol. You might also see: https:// that is the language for a secure/safe page.
 
 www.smpl.org – This identifies the server name (host computer).
 
 classes/tutorials/- These are the subdirectories on the host computer.
 
 onlinetutorials.htm – This is the file name (often describes content of the page)
