Santa Monica Collection

You’ll find the fascinating history of the Santa Monica Bay region in the pages of the Santa Monica Collection. This special room provides research materials for those interested in Southern California history, particularly that of Santa Monica and the surrounding area, as well as books on the intriguing history of California. The Library digitized Image Archive is available on the computer station in the room along with the Library’s Santa Monica File, a partial index to the Santa Monica Evening Outlook and other materials about Santa Monica history.
