straight forward fixed-income security specifically designed to allow the investing public
to purchase original issue corporate bonds directly from major US corporations. The site
invites the user to invest but offers valuable free information such as news about GMAC
SmartNotes, educational multi-media presentation on fixed income investments, the bond of
the week.

directly through the Bureau of Public Debt's website; you can also

Concise data on American corporate
bonds, selected municipals, and some foreign bonds. Includes S&P quality ratings.

indicates which issuers face a change in credit quality. Includes some statistics.
