CommerceNet  Membership organization for companies involved in electronic commerce. Offers several levels of membership: Core, Portfolio, Sponsor or Executive. The basic levels are Core (companies looking for broad information on electronic commerce) and Portfolio (companies needing more in-depth information on electronic commerce technology and/or electronic commerce applications).

Domain Factory  Search for an unregistered domain name, and apply for it online. With help and info on registration, costs, and benefits.

InterNIC  The InterNIC provides domain name registration services for the top level domains .com, .net, .org, and .edu. You can check to see if a name is available and reserve your domain name. Cost is $70 for two years. This is the original domain name registry.

NetNames  Claims to be the largest domain name registry in the world covering over 200 countries. Handles all administrative procedures.
