Library online database. This news digest from 1940 to the present
contains special features like its Country Profiles. Each profile
covers basic information on people, population, government, economy, etc.
and provides a more detailed review of the country history. A country map is
included. A real plus are the Key News Events links to Facts on File
articles about important events in the country's history, current events,

Deloitte Country Snapshots The
snapshots are a digest of facts, figures, economic indicators and country

Fodors. Standard reference books like
Europa World Year Book,
Statesman's Year-book, and
Worldmark Encyclopedia of the Nations provide current
brief analyses of countries' political, economic, and social climate as well
