History of the presidency, current issues and news, biographies of presidents, online tour of the White House, and much more.
U.S. Senate
Find a Senator by name or state, check committee assignments and current legislation, see historical exhibits online, find books and documents.  Members voting records available.
U.S. House of Representatives
Locate Representative by name, state, or zip code.  Find committee assignments and voting records.  Look for a bill or a law or access the U.S. Codes.  Members' voting records available.
FirstGov
Lots of government information here--much of it not available on commercial Websites.  FirstGov indexes millions of web pages from federal and state governments, the District of Columbia and U.S. territories.
Thomas
Locate bills by number or key words in text or search the Congressional Record or committee information.  Thomas also has a good section describing how bills become laws.
Fedworld
"Gateway to government information."  Government jobs, research and development publications, key technology sites, or search 30 million government Web pages.
GPO Access
Information from the Government Printing Office.  Search and read Federal Register and other government documents.  Locate depository libraries or order publications.  Many documents like the 9-/11 Commission Final Report may be read online.
Center for Responsive Politics
Provides information on current issues, overviews of current elections plus historical data.  Knows for its coverage of campaign financing and PAC spending.  Shows who gives money to promote issues and who receives that money.
