Use iBistro, the Library online catalog, to find books about health maintenance organizations and managed care plans in both the reference and circulating collections.  Try the subject headings " Health Maintenance Organizations" or  "Managed Care Plans."  Don't forget the Weiss Ratings' Guide to HMOs and Health Insurers in the Reference Collection.  This quarterly compilation of health insurance company ratings and analysis is current and helpful in evaluating managed care plans.
