Professional Associations |
| Professional associations provide
a wide variety of consumer information and are especially useful in the
health field. Look for information on how to choose your heath
professional, what questions to ask, and how to know if you are receiving
adequate care. In addition to membership directories, many
professional associations publish patients' bills of rights or statements of
professional ethics and supply informational pamphlets on treatment and
procedures and news of current research. The associations listed below
